We are really thankful that the Tredway Family let us add this fine young buck to our herd. He has the "it" factor! You can't walk past his pen without stopping and admiring him. He has a beautiful head with long ears, a long, clean and elegant neck that blends into a smooth set of shoulders, a powerful chest and even as a kid he already has the dairy wedge shape. His rear end is as pretty as his front end, being square and wide with a solid rump. I guess this is to be expected with the solid genetic background that he has. Dam, Easter Lilly was the 2009 ADGA National Show Reserve Junior Champion and placed third in the Three Year Old Class in 2012.

Katmandu is another genetic powerhouse. Every fork in this family tree leads to an animal that has made its mark at the ADGA National Show. His mother, Kaitanna, placed second in the Three Year Old class at the 2012 National Show. Grand Mother, Kailia, was first place Aged Doe in 2009 and also was awarded Reserve Best Udder. His other Grand mother, Valentine, was the 2006 ADGA National Show Reserve Grand Champion. Furthermore, his maternal grandsire, Maxim, is a son of the 2009 Reserve Grand Champion and Best Udder, GCH J&R Spirits's DK Kovergirl 2*M, and his paternal grandsire is a son of two-time ADGA National Champion, Kastdemur's Temerity (2008-2009). You can dig deeper and find even more, but that is enough for me!

Special thanks to Frankie Jones (Alize' ) for breeding this fine young buck and to the Tredway Family for making this addition to our herd possible. Did I mention his littermate sister was Reserve Junior Champion at the 2012 ADGA National Show!!!!!

Tricky Boy is an exciting young buck. His mother, Trixie, is one of our favorite does. She has made her mark in the show ring by winning at big shows, GCH/BDIS at the Indiana State Fair and Kentucky State Fair and placing 4th in the Three Year Old class at the 2008 ADGA National Show. She is a powerful doe that is easily recognized whether in the show ring or in the pen with her ourstanding topline, body capacity, wide and level rump and width throughout. His sire, Dakota Playboy, is already making his mark with in the nubian breed. In 2012 his daughters were 1st Place Jr. Get of Sire at the ADGA National Show, and his milking daughter, GCH Lakeshore Mira's Easter Lilly placed third in the Three Year Old class.
Tricky Boy is wide, with lots of width in his chest, loin, and rear leg set. He displays many of the same attributes of his mother, including her rump. His littermate sister, Playing Trix, has had a successful show season as a kid as well, winning her class at the North American International Livestock Expo and the Hoosier Classic, where she also went on to earn her dry leg.

Tobasco is so much like his mom! Same color, same look, same length, same lovable personality. Tamika is another of our favorite does, she is easy to handle and is always one of the first does to greet us when we get to the barn. She is more than just personality however. She is incredibley long and has a mammary system that is held extremely tight to her body wall. Her rear udder is wide with a beautiful arch. Her foreudder blends nicely into her belly and all that udder sets underneath a long wide rump. Dakota Smoke is the littermate brother to our 2007 ADGA National Show Junior Champion, Risin' Creek Dakota Katlyn.

Charm stands on outstanding feet and legs, has a strong topline and a good balance of strength and dairyness. His daughters have shown, milked and linear appraised well. Risin' Creek Sure Inspire has been top ten at 3 ADGA National Shows, was crowned GCH Nubian at the 2011 NAILE, and Lineared Appraised 91 as a four year old. Charm is used on a limited basis, but it is hard to argue his impact on our herd.

Smoke is an extremely long and tall buck, showing a great amount of strength, yet having a long lean neck and sharp shoulders. His daughters have done well for us, most notably Risin' Creek Smoken Echo. Echo was lost as a three year old, however, as a two year old she earned a championship leg, and was the 1st place 2 year old at the Indiana State Fair. She exhibited Smokes long bone pattern, and had a very sound udder with great extension to the fore and a full, wide rear udder. Smoke is also the full brother of Risin' Creek Dakota Katlyn, 2007 ADGA National Show Junior Champion.

Sarku is a powerful buck with ample dairy character. He has tremendous depth of body, with wide, open ribbing. He sports one of the lovliest nubian heads we have ever owned, with large dropping ears and a prominent nose. His young daughters have been very impressive, especially Risin' Creek SS All The Rage, who earned her dry leg by going Jr. Champion at the Hoosier Classic in both rings. She also was the Indiana State Fair Jr. Champion as well as placing 2nd in her senior kid class at the 2011 ADGA National Show. 2012 will be an exciting year for Sarku with four of his daughters freshening in our herd as well as having kids born in the JHFarms herd, where he has been leased in the fall of 2011.

Fire Proof comes from one of our strongest dam lines. His dam, Katlyn was the 2007 ADGA National Show Jr. Champion after winning her Senior Dry Yearling Class. Her dam, UF Chantelle was the first place Junior Kid at the 2004 ADGA National Show. Chantelle's dam, Risin' Creek Mel's Chanel was the first place milking yearling at the 2002 ADGA National Show, making for three straight generations of National Show class winners. Fire Proof him self is an attractive buck, linear appraising EX90 as just a yearling. ( Only yearling nubian buck in the country to be appraised 90 in 2009) He has only been shown four times, twice as a junior buck, being Jr. Champion both times, and twice as a senior buck, being Grand Champion both times as well. He sired the first place intermediate kid at the 2010 ADGA National Show, Risin' Creek Persuade by Proof. His milking daughters have a lot of fullness to the rear udder, with strong general appearance.

Kause N Khaos is a tall dairy buck with a ton of libido. His pedigree is loaded with animals that have proven themselves on a national level. His mother was 4th place intermediate kid at the 2009 ADGA National show and 8th Place 3 year old at the 2012 ADGA National Show. Grandmother Kovergirl, was Res. GCH at the 2009 ADGA National Show and won the yearling class at the 2007 ADGA National Show. Paternal Grand Dam, Isis, was third place 2 year old at 2007 ADGA National Show. Kause N Khaos's Jr. Get stood 3rd at the 2012 National Show while missing his finest dry yearling daughter, Krista. Kause N Khaos has quickly rose to the "Go To" buck in our herd, although we havn't seen milking daughters, his consistency with stylish, class winning kids remind us so much of our past great herdsire, Kismet Hero's User Friendly, that we can't stop believing that he will be "causing khaos" for our competitors for years to come.

Top Contender is a linebred son of GCH Risin' Creek There She Is, 2011 ADGA National Show RGCH. His Sire, Bonafide Champ, is a maternal grand son of There She Is, and has produced some lovely does in several herds in our area. When we were considering who to breed There She Is to in the fall of 2010, knowing we planned on keeping a buck from her, he seemed like a logical choice. The outcome, Top Contender, is an extremely tall and sharp buck. He walks with the same rear leg set that has allowed his mother to walk around her udder with ease. We are extremely pleased with his first kids. His daughter Risin' Creek Rage To The Top won her kid class at the Hoosier Classic and Indiana State Fair.

We were so thrilled when we had the opportunity to have Who Dat on our farm for the entire 2011 breeding season! He is a lovely buck, possessing good balance of power and dairyness, has good width thoughout, walks on strong feet and legs and levels out nicely across the topline on the move. His dam is the 2011 ADGA National Champion, JHFarms Lucy's Crunch, who we have admired for several years. She first caught our eye as a two year old, then blew us away when we saw her this past year as a four year old. She is very tall, with smoothly blended shoulders, and has ample body capacity and dairy character, with a beautiful mammary. Who Dat's full sister was the 1st Place Senior Kid at the 2011 ADGA National Show as well, so the breeding looks promising. He should blend well with our herd since his sire is a full brother to both Katlyn and Smoke. Special thanks to our friends, The Hubbard Family, for letting us use Who Dat. Update: Who Dat did work well with our herd. The breeding to There She Is produced the 2012 ADGA National Show 1st Place Junior Kid, Risin'Creek She's Dat Belle.
