Katlyn is the reigning ADGA National Show Jr. Champion.  As 2007 ADGA Nnational Show Nubian Judge Mary Stiles-Iager put it, she is the correct balance of power and dairyness. She is the complete package as far as dry does go, lots of width through out, open ribbing, a strong topline and a good square set to all four legs.  She is the third doe in her maternal line to have had the honor of standing 1st in an ADGA National Show line.  Her mother, Chantelle, was the first place junior kid at the 2004 ADGA National Show, while her grandmother, Chanel, earned her class win as a yearling milker at the 2002 ADGA National Show.  We find this type of consistency to be thrilling! Katlyn earned her dry leg as a kid by going Jr. Champion at the 2006 Kentucky State Fair.

Due to high demand we have posted the following pictures of Katlyn.  The photos were shot at dry off, after approximately 8 1/2 months of lactation.  She was uneven all year, but as you can tell in the photos she dried off evenly.  This gives us high hopes for next year  Katlyn was milked out and dry treated immediately after these pictures were taken.  We don't paticularly like posting photos of animals not looking their best, and these photos don't do Katlyn justice.
